Getting there and getting around
The farm is about 10 to 15 minutes by car from Praia da Areia Branca and the Surf2Smile surf camp. We strongly recommend renting a car for your stay — not just to reach the farm easily, but because having wheels genuinely transforms this part of Portugal. Hidden beaches, weekly markets, cobblestone villages, dramatic clifftop views — the Silver Coast rewards the curious traveller who’s willing to drive ten minutes off the main road.
Worth knowing: unlike our beach house and surf hostel options, the eco glamping farm doesn’t have bus station transfers. A rental car gives you full flexibility for arrival, departure, and everything in between. It’s a small logistical step that makes the whole experience feel more like a real escape.

The safari tent is particularly well suited for families — it sleeps up to five guests across two rooms, has a private kitchen and bathroom, and the farm environment is a wonderful, safe setting for children to explore. The safari tent has a fully equipped private kitchen. The dome tent has access to a shared kitchen just nearby. Best of all, guests are welcome to harvest fresh organic vegetables grown right on the farm — pick them, walk them to your kitchen, and eat them the same evening. There are also local markets and grocery stores within easy reach, and good cafés and restaurants nearby if you’d rather eat out.

We strongly recommend it. Guided surf trips to the beach are included in your package, but a car makes everything else much easier — arriving at the farm, doing a grocery shop, exploring the region. Car rental in Portugal is very affordable and widely available.
